CNBC seethes watching Claman interview Buffett

FTVlive reports that CNBC staff members were angry while watching former CNBC anchor Liz Claman interview Warren Buffett on Fox Business Network, which she joined Thursday.

FTVLive reported, “CNBC insiders tell FTVLive that the gang at CNBC was pisssed watching Claman interview one of the world’s most richest men.

“Buffett kept breaking news and CNBC had to keep posting lower third banners crediting FBN for the news.Â

“FBN is putting Claman up against BOTH Erin Burnett (at 2pm) AND Maria Bartiromo at 3pm so they obviously think she has what it takes to beat Money Honey 1 and Money Honey 2.

“CNBC insiders say there was silence in the CNBC newsroom when she announced the interview because there’s major booking wars going on.

“Up until yesterday, every guest CNBC had, FBN had, but later in the day usually. But in one swoop, Claman glowed and beat CNBC.”
