Lauren Hirsch has joined The New York Times Dealbook as a reporter.
Most recently, she was at CNBC where she has worked for three years, joining as a consumer and retail reporter and lately holding the post of business and politics reporter.
Hirsch has also worked at Reuters for over 2 years, first holding the post of M&A correspondent and then serving as deals team leader and correspondent.
Prior to joining Reuters, Hirsch was at Mergermarket, where she covered consumer/retail M&A and generated several scoops, first as a reporter and then as editor.
She was also business operations, MBA intern at CNN.com and held the posts of project manager, e-books rights and royalties and editorial intern at Random House and Rolling Stone Magazine, respectively.
Additionally, she also worked as a senior editor at The Cornell Daily Sun and was also a news production intern at CBS News. Hirsch attended Cornell University as a comparative literature major and is also an MBA from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
