CNBC maintained the No. 1 position for digital video in August for the second consecutive month with 12.8 million unique content video viewers in the business and finance news category, according to the August 2016 comScore U.S. Video Metrix report.
Its video viewers were up 73 percent from a year ago.
CNBC also held the No. 1 slot in the business and finance news category for July. According to data from comScore, the month was CNBC’s third-highest ever with 13.6 million unique content video viewers and growth was up 79 percent year-over-year.
Bloomberg Media was No. 2 both months in business and finance media.
CNBC also posted its best month ever in August 2016 with 31.4 million unique visitors across the total digital population, up 36 percent year-over-year, according to the August 2016 comScore U.S. Media Metrix Multiplatform report.
