Scott Boyarsky has been appointed to the newly-created position of vice president, product development and user experience for CNBC Digital, it was announced Wednesday by Kevin Krim, senior vice president and general manager, CNBC Digital.
Boyarsky, who starts on Dec. 10, will be responsible for creating innovative and interactive experiences across CNBC Digital’s suite of products and services including CNBC.com, CNBC Real-Time iPhone & iPad Apps and CNBC Real-Time Android Apps, CNBC PRO, the premium, integrated desktop/mobile service, CNBC digital video and syndication services, as well as identifying emerging platforms and digital product opportunities for the network.
“Scott is a well-respected digital media executive who brings an incredible mix of deep technical proficiency, creativity and user-centric focus coupled with strong leadership skills and strategic thinking,” said Krim in a statement. “I am very excited to have him in this key position as we continue to build a multi-platform product strategy that delivers compelling digital content experiences.”

According to the most recent comScore data, CNBC.com was visited by 8.4 million unique users in October, its highest total ever and a 30 percent increase compared to the same time period as last year.
Most recently, Boyarsky was vice president of technology for Turner’s Audience Multi-Platform Technology group, where he was responsible for driving technology strategy and product implementation for a diverse portfolio of award-winning News, Finance and Sports brands, including CNN, CNNMoney, CNN International, HLN, NCAA, March Madness Live and Sports Illustrated.
