Richard Johnson of The New York Post reports that CNBC has killed “On the Money,” a personal finance show that it put on hiatus earlier this year.
“A spokesman for CNBC told Page Six, ‘Due to the tremendous success of our documentary program, we’ve made the tough decision to move resources to our long-form [docu-making] unit.'”

“On the Moneyâ€Â premiered in August 2008 and was moved to 9 p.m. when “Wall Street Crisis†premiered as a series of special reports based on the financial crisis. It moved to the 10 p.m. slot in December, taking over the slot from “The Big Idea.â€
