Nicholas Wells is a multimedia and urban reporter for Crain’s New York Business based in Brooklyn who has been hired by CNBC to be a data journalist.
“I’m tremendously excited to join the team at CNBC,” said Wells in an email to Talking Biz News. “It’s a great platform and I look forward to helping enhance their offerings with data-driven stories across a variety of topics.”
Prior to joining Crain’s, he was a freelance journalist for publications including City Limits, The New York Times, The New York Daily News and The New York Press. Wells is a graduate of Hampshire College and the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
Mark T. Fahey, of CNN Money, has also joined CNBC as a data journalist/graphics editor.
Fahey previously worked at The Wall Street Journal and interned at Crain’s New York last summer. He is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and the CUNY Graduate School of Journalism.
