CNBC hires Mashable’s Angelova for digital video

Kamelia Angelova

Jay Yarow, senior vice president and executive editor of CNBC Digital, sent out the following announcement on Wednesday:

I am thrilled to announce Kamelia Angelova will join CNBC as Executive Producer of Digital Video, beginning January 8.

With more than a decade of experience in digital media, Kamelia will bring a sharp eye for visual storytelling to this role. She will be at the center of coordinating CNBC’s digital video efforts and help plot a vision and strategy for the future.

Most recently, Kamelia was at Mashable, where she helped deliver billions of video views across social platforms, as well as on Mashable’s owned and operated site. Prior to Mashable, she worked at Business Insider, where she was instrumental in launching Tech Insider.

Please join me in welcoming Kamelia to CNBC Digital.
