CNBC has best July ever

Steve Krakauer of TVNewser reports that business news cable network CNBC reported its best July ratings in its two-decade history.

Krakauer writes, “The network had its best July ever this month in Total Viewers during Business Day (5amET-7pmET), up 28% over last year, and 25% since the launch of Fox Business Network. In the A25-54 demo, CNBC was up 28% over last year as well, and enjoyed its best July since 2000.

“All CNBC programs from 5am to 7pm individually saw at least double-digit growth in Total Viewers over last year’s average.

“Fast Money at 5pmET had its best month ever in demo and Total Viewers, up 117% and 127% over last year, respectively. High Net Worth, airing Friday’s this summer at 8:30pmET had its best month ever in Total Viewers in any time period. Suze Orman, airing this summer at 8pmET, brought 29% growth over the prior month. Big Idea with Donny Deutsch had its best month in the demo since April, but, with an average of 114,000 Total Viewers for the month, the show scratched for the third month in a row.”
