CNBC Digital hires nine, promotes four

Jay Yarow, senior vice president and executive editor of CNBC Digital, sent out the following announcement on Wednesday:

Hello everyone, hope you had a great weekend. I wanted to send a quick note welcoming our newest teammates:

 Jennifer Elias joins as a Tech reporter based in San Francisco, covering Alphabet. Prior to CNBC, Jennifer covered executive moves, workforce issues and culture in the tech world for the Silicon Valley Business Journal. Before that, she freelanced for FastCompany.com and Forbes.com as well as Bloomberg, The Hollywood Reporter and ESPN. Jennifer received her bachelor’s degree in journalism from San Jose State University.

Lauren Feiner, who has been with CNBC as a News Associate since October, joins our Tech team as a reporter based in Englewood Cliffs. Most recently, she was a podcast producer at Indicative, working specifically on the “Deciding by Data” podcast. Lauren has completed a variety of editorial internships at publications such as the New York Observer, Forbes, the Philadelphia Inquirer and Philadelphia Daily News as well as the Boston Globe. She received her bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Pennsylvania where she was Editor-in-Chief of the student-run publication, The Daily Pennsylvanian.

Tyler Clifford, who first arrived at CNBC as a News Associate in October, joins “Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer” as part of the embed team. Prior to CNBC, Tyler was a breaking news reporter for Crain’s Detroit Business covering business and government news in Detroit and Southeast Michigan. Tyler received his bachelor’s degree in journalism from Michigan State University.

Robert Ferris, a familiar face to the CNBC Digital family, joins the video team as a multimedia reporter. Most recently, Robert was a CNBC.com reporter, covering autos and the new frontier in transportation. He began his career in research before moving over to journalism. Robert received his master’s degree in journalism from New York University and earned a bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Southern California.

Jason Reginato joins the team as associate producer, animation. Most recently, he was a freelance animation producer for Business Insider’s science channel, Science Insider. Before that, Jason held graphic designer positions at Mic and Time Inc. He got his start at Carla Rozman Graphic Design in Kingston, NY. Jason earned his bachelor’s degree in graphic design from the State University of New York at New Paltz.

Adam Isaak joins our San Francisco video team as a producer. Before CNBC, he was a freelance multimedia producer, working on projects for clients including Honda, NHTSA, San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Simone Giertz and Adam Savage. Adam began his career in production at the Center for Inquiry, managing all multimedia production for the international non-profit organization. In 2013, he led the team that created the weekly science podcast, Inquiring Minds Podcast, which has featured guests such as John Oliver, Al Gore and Neil deGrasse Tyson, among others. Adam received his bachelor’s degree in physics from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Lindsey Stanberry joins CNBC Make It as Deputy Managing Editor. Most recently, she was the Work & Money Director for Refinery29. While there, Lindsey launched the Work & Money vertical and was a founding editor of the site’s most popular column, Money Diaries. She joined the publication in 2013 as a content editor before moving on to a senior editor position where she worked on the site’s entertainment content. Prior to Refinery29, Lindsey was an editorial campaign manager for Figment and held a variety of freelance editorial positions for Blue Rider Press and Assouline. She was also an associate editor on special projects for Martha Stewart Living. Lindsey earned her bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Boston University.

Jade Scipioni joins CNBC Make It as senior reporter, covering success and the business of health and wellness. Most recently, she was an on-camera digital business reporter for Fox Business Network. Prior to FBN, Jade was a producer for Bloomberg where she worked on the international business news show, Countdown. She got her start as a production assistant for Court TV News and has held production roles at truTV, CBS News and HLN. Jade received her bachelor’s degree in communications from St. John’s University.

Jason Mandragona joins CNBC Digital as SEO Manager. Prior to CNBC, he was the internet marketing manager for SearchActions, a Philadelphia-based digital marketing agency. Jason began his career at BVTLive! where he served as business development and marketing manager. He received his bachelor’s degree in communications from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.

Additionally, Kathryn Dill has been promoted to senior editor, Kathleen Elkins has been promoted to senior writer, Emmie Martin has been promoted to associate editor, Abby Hess has been promoted to reporter.
