CNBC.com posted its best June ever and second best month ever in terms of unique visitors.
The site was visited by 8.5 million unique users in June, up 23 percent compared to the same time period last year, according to comScore Media Metrix. This is the fourth consecutive month of year-over-year unique growth for the site.
Meanwhile, CNBC’s iPhone application posted 571,000 unique visitors during the month, a 2 percent increase year-over-year, according to Omniture.
CNBC mobile website recorded 2.9 million unique visitors, a 4 percent increase year-over-year.
However, CNBC’s iPad application posted 404,000 unique visitors for the month, down 5 percent compared to last year.
