CNBC.com reports record month in June

Business news site CNBC.com had its best June ever in terms of unique visitors.

According to latest data from comScore Media Metrix, the site was visited by 5.6 million unique users this past month and generated 278 million page views.

CNBC Mobile Web also had its best June ever in terms of page views with 56 million, a 41 percent increase compared to June 2009. The site has also closed its best quarter ever, increasing page views by 37 percent compared to the same time last year.

CNBC.com is the No. 1 standalone financial news site in total minutes with visitors spending 438 million minutes on the site in June.

CNBC.com is also the No. 1 in time spent per visitor with users spending an average of 79 minutes on the site in June, the most in comScore’s Business/Finance – News/Research category.

Finally, CNBC.com is the No. 1 financial news site in page views per visitor with users consuming an average of 50 pages per visitor, according to comScore Media Metrix.
