CNBC.com posted its best September ever in terms of unique visitors.
The business news site was visited by 8.1 million unique users in September, up 24 percent compared to the same time period last year, according to comScore US Media Metrix.
In addition, CNBC’s mobile web recorded 3.2 million unique visitors in September, a 38 percent increase year-over-year, according to Omniture.
CNBC’s iPhone application posted 592,000 unique visitors for the month, a 5 percent increase year-over-year.
CNBC’s iPad app posted 416,000 unique visitors for the month. Comparable 2012 data is not available because there was a tracking glitch in the Omniture system for the iPad app last year at this time.
