Business news site CNBC.com posted its best October ever and its second best month ever in terms of unique visitors.
The site was visited by 9.4 million unique users in October, up 12 percent compared to the same time period last year, according to comScore Media Metrix.
In addition, the CNBC mobile web recorded its highest monthly unique visitors ever with 4.4 million, up 50 percent year-over-year and up 31 percent from the previous high that was recorded in August, according to Omniture.
In addition, CNBC’s iPhone App posted 597,000 unique visitors for the month. And its iPad app posted 422,000 unique visitors, according to Omniture. Comparable data is not available because there was a tracking glitch in the Omniture system for apps last year at this time.
