Tom Anderson, a personal finance writer for CNBC.com, is leaving the business news website.
Anderson is becoming the editor-in-chief of RealClearLife, the lifestyle vertical of RealClear Media.
His last day at CNBC is Wednesday, July 5. He starts at RealClearLife on July 10.
“I’m grateful to Jim Pavia, CNBC’s money editor, who brought me back for a second tour,” said Anderson in an email to Talking Biz News. “It was a pleasure to work with an amazing group of all-stars, including Sharon Epperson, Katie Young, Kelli Grant, Jessica Dickler, Darla Mercado and Rick Levinson.”
Anderson has been with CNBC.com since July 2016. He also wrote personal finance for the site from February 2015 to October 2015.
Before CNBC, Anderson was an associate editor at Kiplinger’s Personal Finance from January 2006 to September 2010, writing stories about investing and retirement planning for the national magazine. He also worked for ANG Newspapers in the Bay area and for the St. Louis Business Journal.
