Sara Salinas has joined CNBC Digital to cover tech news.
Her first day is Wednesday.
Salinas interned this past summer on the Boston Globe metro desk. Before that, she interned for the Indianapolis Star as a Pulliam Fellow and for the Baltimore Business Journal.
She graduated in May from UNC-Chapel Hill as a journalism major. During her senior year, she was projects and investigations director for The Daily Tar Heel, the student newspaper.
Salinas, a Maryland native, was also a contributing writer to USA Today College.
