Yun Li has been hired as a reporter for the markets and investing team. She comes to CNBC from Reuters where she covered the U.S. leveraged loan market. Previously, Li was a reporter for Fund Action, writing about mutual funds and ETFs. Before that, she spent time as an intern at Bloomberg covering Treasuries.
Li began her journalism career as a freelancer for Athens News in Ohio. She earned a master’s degree in Journalism from Ohio University and completed her undergraduate studies at Shanghai University of international business and economics.
Charlotte Morabito joins the video team as an associate producer, working on news and programming content. Morabito comes to CNBC from Vox Media where she was an associate producer, working on the digital show “The Divided States of Women.”
She began her career in journalism as an intern at MSNBC for “The Rachel Maddow Show” and “Live with Thomas Roberts” before moving on to become an editorial assistant for the network. She has a bachelor’s degree in women’s studies and journalism from Rutgers University.
Natalie Zhang has been hired as an associate producer on the video team, working on news and programming content. Most recently, she served as a social media producer for WGBH in Boston where she was responsible for leading the strategy, planning and execution of the social media campaigns for the PBS affiliate’s productions.
Zhang also completed editorial internships at publications such as Los Angeles Business Journal and USA Today. She received her bachelor’s degree in broadcast and digital journalism from the University of Southern California.
Vanna Le joins Make It as contributors editor. Most recently, she served as editor of news and global partnerships at Thrive Global where she launched a health news portal and was responsible for managing content from more than 40 syndication partners.
Le began her career in business journalism as a reporter and assistant online editor at Forbes before moving on to Inc. where she spent nearly three years as a senior editor. Her articles have also appeared in Los Angeles magazine and NewYorker.com. She received her degree in English from the University of California, Davis.
