Cindi Andrews has been named the business editor at The Cincinnati Enquirer, a Gannett newspaper.
She begins on Monday.
Andrews replaces Bowdeya Tweh, who left The Enquirer to work at The Wall Street Journal.
She has been an editor and reporter at Enquirer Media for more than a dozen years, covering beats including commercial real estate and City Hall. Since May 2014, she has been opinion engagement editor at the paper.
A University of Cincinnati graduate, she previously worked at The News & Record in Greensboro, North Carolina, and as a residential real estate agent.
From August 2005 to May 2007, she was editor of Women’s Business Cincinnati, overseeing all aspects of monthly paper’s editorial content, including planning topics, recruiting columnists, managing interns, and writing profiles of prominent Cincinnati area businesswomen.
