Laura Baverman, a business columnist and reporter for the Cincinnati Enquirer, has left the paper to move to North Carolina.
She covered commercial development, retail, the grocery industry, start-ups and whatever else came her way. Her weekly column called Innovations appeared on Fridays.
She also co-authored Developing Now, a local blog with real estate and development news.
She has a bachelor’s degree from Miami University, where she studied journalism, history and political science.
Shortly before she left the paper, she received the Spirit of Enterprise Award from the Greater Cincinnati Venture Association.
Baverman had been a community leader in covering start-ups and entrepreneurs, winning several awards. She launched the popular EnterChange blog on Cincinnati.com last year.
