Forbes senior editor Dawn Chmielewski and Deadline journalist Dade Hayes have signed a contract to write about the streaming wars.
The book, to be called “Binge Times,” will be out in 2021 and will be published by William Morrow.
Chmielewski joined Forbes earlier this year as senior editor of technology, media and entertainment, based in Los Angeles. She is a veteran of Recode, Deadline Hollywood and The Los Angeles Times.
Hayes is a contributing editor at Deadline, based in New York. He covers business andfinancial news as well as New York events and film and TV stories.
His work has appeared in the New York Times, Variety, TV Guide,Boston Globe, L.A. Times, the Globe and Mail, Forbes and Fierce Cable.
Hayes is the author of “Anytime Playdate: Inside the Preschool Entertainment Boom, or. How Television Became My Baby’s Best Friend.”
