Chilson writes, “Last week was my first official one back in the newsroom, and in some ways, it felt as if I never left. On the other hand, the news world has changed in the past decade — think tweeting and Facebook — so it’s taking me a bit of time to transition.”
Since July 1999, Chilson had been owner of Exactly Write, which provided writing, editing, photography and graphic design to clients.
She previously worked as a business reporter and editor for the Capital-Journal from 1995 to 1999.
