Chicago Tribune introduces redesigned business section

Here is the note that was on the top of the Chicago Tribune’s business section Tuesday from Michael Lev, associate managing editor of business:

“Welcome to the Tribune’s refreshed and redesigned Business section. It’s a new look for a broader reading experience.

“We’ll continue to provide aggressive business reporting, your favorite columnists and daily stock market information. But we’ll also give you more stories with a focus on consumer issues, because we’re all concerned about finances and want to spend smartly.

“From articles on personal technology and investments to health care, shopping and beyond, our reporting will help you navigate your lives.

“One improvement to notice on our cover: local news headlines running down the left side and labeled Chicago BreakingBusiness.com. Online, that’s the place to go for business news as it happens, reported by our staff and partners. In print, this compendium of brief, sharply written stories will give you an overview of business developments that matter to Chicago.”
