Chen joins TechNode as a news editor

Qin Chen

Qin Chen has joined TechNode.com as a news editor working with reporters to help English readers contextualize the tech industry in China.

Chen comes from the South China Morning Post where she was a reporter. Before that, she was a multimedia producer.

Chen has also served as a senior video producer at The New Yorker and was a digital associate producer at CNBC.

She was also a multimedia designer at San Jose Mercury News and has interned at CNN. She has also worked at Online News Association and Youth Daily.

Chen is a M.A. in multimedia journalism from the University of Miami.
