Business news channel Channel started a new weekly show on Wednesday focusing on covering transportation.
“Cheddar Rides” features anchor Hope King and Tamara Warren, former transportation editor of The Verge. It airs live from the New York Stock Exchange.
“Can’t think of a more exciting industry to cover right now than transportation — moving billions of people around the world,” said King on Twitter.
Cheddar Rides is a new weekly show about the future of getting from here to there. “The show will look at the latest trends at the intersection of technology, business and transportation, particularly as they relate to younger consumers,” said Cheddar editor in chief Jim Roberts. “The shows will focus on scooters, electric vehicles, aviation, air taxis, rockets and the technology that powers them all.”
Warren left The Verge earlier this year and has spent the past few months building an editorial app called Le Car, which will soon launch in the App Store.
She continues to do some freelancing about transportation, design, and art for a few publications, including the Verge, and also has appeared on the History Channel shows “Muscle Cars” and “Truck Wars.”
