Alicia Nieves
Business news channel Cheddar has hired Alicia Nieves as an anchor.
Nieves, an Emmy Award-winning reporter who has reported for WPIX-TV in New York and KYW-TV in Philadelphia, among other local news stations, most recently served as a national news correspondent for the E.W. Scripps Co.
She will join senior anchor Kristen Scholer on “Closing Bell” and anchor Hena Doba on “Cheddar’s News Wrap.”
Nieves also worked as a Washington correspondent for KTXV/KUCW.
She holds an MBA from Rutgers and a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Syracuse University.
