Nora Ali, an anchor at business news channel Cheddar, is leaving.
Ali wrote on Twitter that she is launching a new venture and leaving the news business.
Ali was previously a senior product manager for end-to-end customer experience at the e-commerce company Jet.com, which she joined prior to its launch and acquisition by Walmart. She helped build the Marketing Technology team and spearheaded a new beta-testing team with designers, engineers, and product leaders.
Before Jet, Ali was an Asian equities financial analyst at Goldman Sachs, where she advised major institutional investors on equity investments and IPOs across Asian markets.
She graduated with a B.A. in statistics and quantitative finance from Harvard University.
