The Charlotte Observer has hired Gordon Rago to cover growth and development.
He started on Monday.
Rago has been at The Virginian-Pilot since April 2018. He most recently was City Hall reporter covering Chesapeake, Virginia’s second-largest city by population. He previously worked at the York Daily Record in Pennsylvania for four years.
Rago also worked at the Shoshone News-Press in Idaho as a reporter.
He is a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College.
