Tyrone Richardson has joined The Charleston Post and Courier in South Carolina as a business reporter.
A story on its website states, “He primarily will be covering the port, residential real estate and employment issues.
“Richardson, a New Jersey native and graduate of Seton Hall University, joins The Post and Courier after more than four years covering retail and manufacturing industries at The Morning Call newspaper in Allentown, Pa.
“During his time at The Call, he also authored a weekly retail column and earned several journalism awards for coverage of Mack Trucks, a major employer in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley region.
“Richardson joined The Call after stints covering courts and legal issues at The New York Law Journal and The Baltimore Sun.
“Richardson also has freelanced for The Star-Ledger newspaper in Newark, N.J., and interned for The New York Times and The Boston Globe.”
