Thad Moore, a business reporter for The (Charleston) Post and Courier in South Carolina, is moving to the paper’s projects/watchdog team.
Moore said he hopes to approach projects and investigative stories with a business/financial mindset. He will also continue to cover the debate in South Carolina over the building of a nuclear power plant.
Moore has been with the paper since April 2016, primarily covering technology and unemployment.
Moore interned on the Washington Post business desk. Moore became famous on the Internet when the New York Stock Exchange halted trading.
He also interned for the Denver Post’s business section and for the metro desk of The Virginian-Pilot.
Moore is a 2015 graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he was editor in chief of the Daily Gamecock.
