Changes on the Arizona Daily Star business desk

The Arizona Daily Star, the daily newspaper in Tucson, named a new business editor on Monday and other changes on the business desk.

Business editor Tim Steller becomes a senior reporter working largely on enterprise reporting for the Sunday paper beginning next week. He is replaced by longtime editor Norma Coile as business editor. Assistant business editor Dave Wichner remains in that role.

Gabriela Rico, the business section’s resident logistics and mining nerd, is taking a new position as team leader for breaking news in the metro section.

And Enric (Ric) Volante, a longtime investigative reporter with a deep knowledge of database reporting, will join the business section next week to cover Raytheon Missile Systems and additional topics still to be determined.
