Michael Calderone of Politico reports that Bloomberg‘s executive Washington editor Al Hunt is expected to step away from much of the bureau’s day-to-day management, with bureau chief Mike Tackett taking on an expanded role.
“It’s likely that Tackett — who joined from Tribune in 2008 — will have greater daily contact with hard-charging editor-in-chief Matt Winkler and top Bloomberg executives in New York, renowned among staffers for maintaining a strict enforcement the company-wide style known as ‘The Bloomberg Way.’
“Hunt and Tackett declined to comment. A Bloomberg spokesperson did not return a request for comment.”
