Cate Barron named president of PA Media Group

Cate Barron has been named president of PA Media Group, responsible for newsroom, sales and marketing operations at PennLive.com and the Patriot-News newspaper in Pennsylvania. (https://www.pennlive.com/news/2019/08/veteran-pennlivepatriot-news-journalist-named-president-of-pa-media-group.html)

She succeeds D. Lee Carlson who retired after serving as president for four years.

The announcement was made by Tim Kennedy, regional president with Advance Local, which oversees the parent company of PennLive and the Patriot-News.

“Cate is a passionate leader who is deeply committed to the success of our community, our organization and our employees,” Kennedy said.
