Carolina Wilson, who has been with Bloomberg for a little over four years, is taking on a new role within the news organization as team leader for emerging markets in Latin America.
While obtaining a master’s degree in journalism at Stanford University, Wilson worked as a reporter for the Peninsula Press, a project of the Stanford journalism program. As part of this work, she completed a thesis about diminishing opportunities for farm working communities in California’s San Joaquin Valley due to the state’s ongoing drought and produced a weekly micro-video series titled Stateside, a brief and intimate look into the struggles faced by homeless Silicon Valley veterans.
While obtaining a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame, she wrote for the student newspaper, reporting on news occurring on campus and in the South Bend community.
