Cape Cod Times names new business reporter

Chris Roush is the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.

  1. Sean F. Driscoll has done a great job reporting the Falmouth wind turbine news. Falmouth is ground zero for poorly placed wind turbines in the United States. The neighbors describe the noise as torture from lack of sleep. The Massachusetts court system is in the next few weeks and months going to have dire court rulings against the Town of Falmouth for hiding noise warning letters, memos, documents which include maps etc. The town always knew the turbines were too loud. Let’s hope Sean a great journalist continues to report what is about to happen in Falmouth over the poorly placed wind turbines and the noise described as torture from lack of sleep
