Cape Cod Times business reporter Sean F. Driscoll is leaving the paper next week to become communications director with the Woods Hole, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket Steamship Authority.
His last day at the paper is June 15
A story on the Times website stated, “Driscoll voluntarily stopped covering the Steamship Authority for the Times once he learned he would be interviewed for the public relations post.
“Driscoll, who is a graduate of Indiana University, had worked for the Times since 2013, initially covering the towns of Falmouth and Mashpee before becoming the paper’s business reporter.
“‘I know the importance the ferry line has to the communities it serves, and I look forward to working to improve communications with customers and residents alike,’ Driscoll said in the statement.”
