The Canadian Press has hired Amanda Stephenson as a reporter in its Calgary bureau.
She starts new new position on June 22.
Stephenson spent the last nine years at the Calgary Herald where she has covered everything from oil and gas to agriculture and aviation. In recent years, she has also focused heavily on Alberta’s quest for economic diversification, including the province’s burgeoning tech sector.
She is a graduate of University of Regina in journalism.
