Canadian biz news site company expanding to Saskatchewan

A Canadian company that runs three business news websites in the eastern part of the company is opening a fourth site in Saskatchewan.

AllSaskatchewan.com will mirror the sites alllNovaScotia, allNewfoundlandLabrador and allNewBrunswick, which have more than 13,000 subscribers and a hard paywall.

The company allAtlanticCanada is owned by its employees. The Nova Scotia site has the most subscribers and has been published since 2001.

The new site is seeking journalists who will work a region from Saskatoon and Regina. Alex McPherson, a former staffer at The StarPhoenix in Saskatoon, will be the editor at AllSaskatchewan. Send resume, cover letter and writing samples to David Bentley at jobs@allsaskatchewan.com

He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
