Brenda Bouw, most recently a mining reporter for The Globe and Mail based out of Vancouver, has joined PR Associates as an account director in charge of media relations.
Bouw was the mining reporter at The Globe and Mail, and led the reporting team that won the 2010 National Newspaper Award for business reporting.
Bouw also held the position of executive producer at BNN (formerly Report On Business Television) and worked as a business reporter at The Canadian Press and The Financial Post.
She has also authored and ghostwritten a handful of business books on topics ranging from real estate to management and leadership.
“Brenda’s a great researcher and writer and knows the exploration and mining sector inside out,” said Robert Simpson, the president and CEO of PR Associates, in a statement.
