Canadian business journalist Jameson Berkow has been hired as managing editor of RATESDOTCA, which covers insurance and personal finance news.
He started Feb. 22.
“I am truly excited for this opportunity to help Canadians with what are often their most difficult decisions,” he said in a statement. “We now have the potential to help even more Canadians with the financial issues they face every day.”
Berkow previously worked for The (Toronto) Globe and Mail as a business reporter and was the founding editor-in-chief of The Rise, a new media outlet covering entrepreneurship in legal cannabis markets globally.
He has also worked as a reporter at both Bell Media and the National Post Inc. He was also the editorial intern at the Toronto Life Magazine. Recently, he was the senior reporter for BNN Bloomberg where he led live daily coverage of major business news.
