Campaign appoints Weissbrot as U.S. editor

Alison Weissbrot

Alison Weissbrot is joining Campaign as U.S. editor to lead the next stage in the development of one of the most notable business media brands.

Her new role starts September 16. She will be reporting to Steve Barrett, vice president and editorial director of Campaign U.S.

“I am thrilled to join Campaign as its new U.S. editor,” said Weissbrot. “I look forward to charting this storied publication’s next phase of global expansion in the United States, and continuing to cover this vibrant and vital industry.”

Weissbrot joins Campaign after spending more than 4 years as senior editor at AdExchange. She joined the company in 2016 as a staff reporter. She has also worked as a copywriter at MarketSmiths and was an editorial and production intern at Fathom: Travel.

She was also a food blogger at Spoon University and a blogger for Uloop. Additionally, she has also interned at Culture Project and City of Yorkers.

Barrett adds:

“Alison has an impressive pedigree across the TV, digital and agency beats and we look forward to her bringing that expertise to Campaign to help take this brand to the next level.

“She has great connections in the industry and valuable experience interviewing senior executives at the highest level of advertising and marketing.”

Weissbrot is a B.S. in international/global studies from the University of Michigan.
