California paper prints wrong WSJ insert
The Santa Cruz Sentinel newspaper in California printed the wrong edition of The Wall Street Journal Sunday in its weekend paper, according to a short note from its editor in Wednesday’s paper.
Editor Tim Honig wrote, “The entire three-page Wall Street Journal Sunday supplement will be reprinted in its entirety in Friday’s paper so that our subscribers who receive only Friday through Sunday editions will also get the Journal reprint.
“I apologize for the mistakes. A number of callers have asked whether the errors resulted because the Sentinel is now printed in San Jose. The answer is no. The mistakes were a result of human error. Our editorial team has taken steps to ensure that such repeats will not happen again.”

Oops! Sounds as if someone or several someones lost their job over this mistake. That had to be an “oh s^#t” moment for the entire Sentinel.

Isn’t too harsh to fire them for one mistake -after all -humans are bound to do a mistake or two?
But yes – it was a major mistake that could create a question mark on the editorial credibility of Tim Honing and his team.
Ahh.. S%$^ happens… :p ..
This hasn”t happened for the first time, nor it is the last time its gonna happen.
Agreed Mr. Rush.
I think these type of mistakes are not only limited to the press only but everywhere. :D
