The Santa Cruz Sentinel newspaper in California printed the wrong edition of The Wall Street Journal Sunday in its weekend paper, according to a short note from its editor in Wednesday’s paper.

Santa Cruz SentinelEditor Tim Honig wrote, “The entire three-page Wall Street Journal Sunday supplement will be reprinted in its entirety in Friday’s paper so that our subscribers who receive only Friday through Sunday editions will also get the Journal reprint.

“I apologize for the mistakes. A number of callers have asked whether the errors resulted because the Sentinel is now printed in San Jose. The answer is no. The mistakes were a result of human error. Our editorial team has taken steps to ensure that such repeats will not happen again.”
