Byington joins Bloomberg Government as transportation reporter

Bloomberg Government has hired Lillianna Byington as its new transportation reporter.

Byington will be covering the new admin’s infrastructure plans, transportation legislation and more.

Previously, Byington worked at Industry Dive as a reporter where she pitched and wrote day-to-day articles, ran social media accounts and more. She joined the company in 2018 as an associate editor. Byington has also served as an investigative reporting fellow at News21.

She has also worked at The GW Hatchet for more than three years, joining as a news editor and then holding the post of editor-in-chief.

Additionally, she has also interned at Bloomberg BNA, The New Republic, Westchester Home Magazine and Street Sense Media.

Byington is a B.A. in journalism and mass communication from The George Washington University.
