Molly Hensley-Clancy, a BuzzFeed business reporter for the last four years, is moving to the politics team to cover national Democrats for the news organization.
Hensley-Clancy previously covered the business of education for BuzzFeed. This follows the departure of BuzzFeed editor Jennifer Kingson late last year.
Hensley-Clancy previously worked as an assistant to Reuters editor in chief Stephen Adler, covered business news for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette and residential and commercial real estate business for the Wall Street Journal. Before embarking on a career in journalism, She worked as a teaching assistant in several city public schools and is deeply interested in educational inequality and access in education.
Hensley-Clancy is a Yale University graduate.
