Peter Kafka at Silicon Alley Insider is reporting that BusinessWeek is laying off eight to 10 staff members from the print magazine, while its web operations remain unscathed.
Talking Biz News received a similar message within the hour stating, “BusinessWeek just cut about a dozen more editorial staff positions, mostly senior editors (on print side).” However, calls and e-mails to PR people Kimberley Quinn and Heather Carpenter have not yet been returned.
