BusinessWeek launches monthly Chicago edition

BusinessWeek announced Wednesday the launch of BusinessWeek Chicago, a monthly publication that will provide news, insight and analysis for the Chicago business marketplace. BusinessWeek Chicago will debut in November.

Written and edited in BusinessWeek’s Chicago bureau, the publication will identify trends that matter most to Chicago-area executives and offer realistic solutions and best practices that benefit their bottom line, according to a release.

Michael Arndt, a senior correspondent in the BusinessWeek Chicago Bureau, will serve as editor of the new publication.Â

“BusinessWeek has a long tradition of providing analysis, perspective and interpretation of global business news to readers,” said Keith Fox, president of BusinessWeek, in a release.  “With BusinessWeek Chicago, we’ll provide the same insight for our Chicago-area readers, with content focused on their needs.”

The debut issue of BusinessWeek Chicago will have a controlled circulation of 60,000 and will be sent to a selected list of BusinessWeek subscribers and key decision makers in the Chicago area.
