BusinessWeek launches BlackBerry app

BusinessWeek announced the launch of an all new mobile application for BlackBerry smartphones.

The new app gives BlackBerry users complete access to BusinessWeek.com content including all BusinessWeek.com channels. Users can customize content and create a company watchlist that tracks stock quotes and related stories for selected companies. The app also allows users to share articles via e-mail and Twitter.

Roger Neal, senior vice president and general manager of BusinessWeek.com, said, “In this increasingly busy world, it’s important for our users to have the information they need right at their fingertips. Our new BlackBerry app allows readers to access all BusinessWeek.com content and market data on their handhelds and customize it to reflect the topics that are most important to them.”

The BusinessWeek application for BlackBerry, which was developed by Polar Mobile, is now available for download at http://m.businessweek.com or via BlackBerry’s App World.
