BusinessWeek Israel launches

BusinessWeek and Hirsh Media Ltd., a publishing company based in Tel-Aviv, unveiled Tuesday its debut issue of BusinessWeek Israel.Â

The inaugural issue, with a 30,000 circulation, has a cover date of Jan. 10 and is available on newsstands and via subscription, according to the Asia Media Journal Online.

The BusinessWeek Hebrew language edition is published every other Tuesday with a cover date of the following Thursday.

Editorial content will consist of selected material from BusinessWeek and BusinessWeek.com as well as local editorial material developed by Hirsh Media journalists.  The premiere issue will carry approximately 21 pages of locally produced editorial.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
