Matt Boyle has been hired at BusinessWeek as deputy corporations editor, according to an internal e-mail announcement from senior editor Diane Brady.
“For all his journalism experience, though, he says it was his summer job as a doorman at an Upper East Side co-op that taught him the most about human nature.
“Matt lives in Riverdale with his wife, two-year-old daughter and four-month-old son. When not trying to catch up on sleep, he’s an ardent fan of the New York Mets and the Giants—and wants all softball fanatics to know that he bats left-handed and plays a ‘very capable’ first base. Please join me in welcoming him.”
