Bloomberg Businessweek copy editor Newman retires

Anne Newman, senior copy editor at Bloomberg Businessweek has retired after spending a career in journalism that spanned 54 years, which included working a high school column for the local paper to weeklies in Appalachia.

She has also worked as a reporter at The Wall Street Journal, covering the Nasdaq stock market, penny-stock crimes, and general news.

She was also a reporter at Dow Jones, where she reported for a startup wire, Dow Jones Professional Investor Report.

Newman graduated from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
