Business reporter leaving Ottawa Citizen after 19 years

Vito Pilieci

Vito Pilieci, a business and tech reporter for the Ottawa Citizen, is leaving the publication after 19 years on the job.

Pilieci announced his news on Twitter, saying that he’s taken a job outside the field of journalism.

Prior to the Ottawa Citizen, Pilieci was a reporter for the National Post.

He graduated from the University of Toronto with a B.A. in English and Political Science and received his post-graduate degree in journalism from Humber College.
