Business magazines garner multiple awards

Folio:’s Eddie and Ozzie awards were handed out Monday, and business magazines took home some of the hardware. The awards recognize achievement in magazine editorial and design.

Here are the business magazine winners:

— Inc. magazine’s December 2009 cover won the silver award for best cover of a business-to-business magazine with more than 100,000 circulation.

— Inc. magazine’s April 2010 cover won the gold award for best feature cover of a business-to-business magazine with more than 100,000 circulation. The cover was “The Office is Dead. Long Live the Office.” The article also won the gold award for best article in the business-to-business category.

— Worth magazine’s December 2009 issue won the gold and Bloomberg Businessweek’s April 2010 redesign won the silver for best redesign of a consumer magazine.

— Inc. magazine won the bronze for best site design of a business-to-business magazine.

— Bloomberg Businessweek won the bronze for best use of photography in a consumer magazine with more than 250,000 circulation for its May 2010’s “The machines that ate the market.”

— BNET won gold and CNNMoney.com won silver in the business-to-business website category.

— In the best business consumer magazine category, Inc. won gold, Bloomberg Markets won silver and Entrepreneur won bronze.

— In the best business consumer article category, Bloomberg Markets’ “Plundering the Amazon” won gold, and Bloomberg Businessweek’s “Goldman Sachs: It wasn’t our fault. Really.” won silver while Entrepreneur’s “2010 Trends” won bronze.
